Foundations Behavioral Health also offers telemedicine to clients unable to come to our clinic for medication management. Clients may also opt for telemedicine per their individual preference.
What is Telemedicine? How does it work?
Telemedicine allows health care professionals to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients at a distance using telecommunications technology. Telemedicine services have increased drastically within the last decade. This service is valuable for individuals who live a far distance from the clinic, or who are homebound or lack transportation. Foundations Behavioral Health provides telemedicine for long-distance or home-bound clients through the HIPPA compliant software: Doxy.me. The prospective telemedicine client receives a link to their email to use the Doxy.me portal to see our doctor. All paperwork is transmitted to the client and back to the doctor electronically through Doxy.me portal via client’s email.
