Christian has a passion for people’s stories. In her person-centered approach to therapy, she works to construct a relationship of respect, empathy and safety. She has had success working with a variety of issues including adjustment reactions including grief, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and trauma.
Christian earned two degrees from Oral Roberts University in Psychology and Marital and Family Therapy. She went on to earn her License in Marital and Family Therapy (LMFT). She has been a counselor for over a decade and has worked in the community mental health, inpatient and small practice settings. As an LMFT, she has had special training and experience in working with couples and families.
Christian’s story has led her to specialize in helping people heal after loss. She previously worked at The Grief Center in Tulsa, OK where she counseled individuals, families and groups who experienced a loss.
